Dr Sauer graduated with first class honours from the University of Queensland (Australia) Dental School in 1996. Since then she has traveled extensively throughout Australasia, the USA and Europe to train with the world's leaders in implant and cosmetic dentistry. Much of Dr Sauer's early training was at the world-renowned Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, where she was the first Australasian dentist to complete several training programs. Dr Sauer established her own cosmetic and implant dental practice, Dental Artistry, in Australia in 1999. The practice quickly developed an enviable reputation for outstanding cosmetic dentistry Australia-wide and soon became welcoming patients from all over Australia, and overseas. Dental Artistry became the most successful cosmetic and implant dental practice in Australia. The success of and demand for the practice was such that Dr Sauer also started training other dentists in cosmetic dental techniques, and founded the Australian Institute of Cosmetic Dentistry. At the end of 2005, romance led Dr Sauer to sell Dental Artistry Australia and move to Auckland, New Zealand. She has now joined Dr Mark Worthington in creating Implant Solutions and Dental Artistry in Auckland. Dr Sauer's cosmetic dental expertise and Dr Worthington's surgical prowess have combined to herald a new era in dentistry in New Zealand where patients can now receive world class implant surgery and cosmetic dentistry within the one dental practice. In addition to her Auckland practice, Dr Sauer maintains a private practice limited to cosmetic and implant dentistry in Melbourne, Australia. Dr Sauer is the founder of the Australian Institute of Cosmetic Dentistry and a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, The New Zealand Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, The New Zealand Dental Association, The Auckland Dental Association and the Australian Dental Association.
